Renaissance Textiles designs, manufactures and installs historic reproduction fabrics and furnishings, including the fine fabrics of the Renaissance Collection.

From our base in the heart of the Somerset countryside, we create faithful copies of early English and European fabrics from the Byzantine era through to the 19th Century. Many of these have not been woven for hundreds of years, and were rediscovered with the help of the museum archives of Europe. The authenticity of these historic reproduction fabrics is testament to years of experience, and extensive research.

In addition to the Renaissance Collection, we offer a bespoke textile design service. Whether you have a precise idea of the fabric design you want, or would like our creative assistance, the result will be individual and perfectly suited to your project.

Over the years, the company has worked for private clients and public institutions alike - the latter including The National Trust, English Heritage, Historic Scotland and Cadw.
